All things must pass. It’s a simple fact of life that can be very difficult to accept. Sometimes, I have a tendency to hold on to things long after they’re gone. Other times I overcompensate by trying to let go of things before I am ready, which actually prolongs the process. But by turning to poetry to help me make sense of recent losses, I found a practice that allowed me the freedom to feel whatever I was feeling yet also required the courage and discipline for me to examine those feelings honestly. That has proven to be a very healing combination and I’m so grateful for it. And I am grateful to all of you who bear witness to my healing and help motivate me to maintain this daily practice. I hope somehow that by sharing my poetry with you, I am also sharing some of the healing that it brings me.
Please note that I won’t be posting this Thursday or Friday due to the Thanksgiving holiday and I am going to stop posting on Saturdays going forward because, understandably, those posts are getting the least engagement. If there are any questions or concerns about my content schedule, subscribers can reach me by replying to their email of this post.
I also want to remind everyone that I am now offering a custom, inspirational poem to all of my paid subscribers. This poem can be personalized for you or a loved one. When you become a paid subscriber you will receive a welcome email with full instructions on how to receive your poem.
Once again, I greatly appreciate the encouragement and support of all my subscribers through your readership and with likes, comments and shares of my posts. I wish you all a wonderful week.
Peace, love and gratitude,
Victoria
