Introduction
This is a song I wrote last year after reading a biography about singer-songwriter Townes Van Zandt. I initially shared it here but was really unhappy with my recording so I eventually removed it. Now, after re-recording it several times I am still not 100% happy with it but I’m satisfied it is the best I can do for now.
As I do with most of my songs, I’m posting a sample clip below and then the full demo recording and the lyrics after the paywall break.
